The schedule covers biological and materials sciences as well as semiconductors and forensics, with cross over to biotechnology (notably the American Society of Human Genetics and the NIH Research Festival) and photonics. “Nanotech was a logical expansion,” said MME’s President, Barbara Foster, “because of the rise in electron and scanning probe technologies for the new size regime. Similarly, we are finding that a number of photonics companies need to know about microscopy and imaging because they are designing new products for these niches.” An expanded version of the calendar is posted on MME’s website, www.MicroscopyMarket.com.
